Re: Nick Drake

Nick Drake was one of many brilliant singer/guitarists who sprung up in the UK in the 60's. John Martyn (who wrote Solid Air about his friend Nick Drake and his depression), Bert Jansch, John Renbourne, Davey Graham (composer of 'Angie' which every aspiring acoustic guitarist learned to play), Martin Carthy and many more.

Re: Nick Drake

I never felt magic crazy as this
I never saw moons knew the meaning of the sea
I never held emotion in the palm of my hand
Or felt sweet breezes in the top of a tree
But now you're here
Brighten my northern sky

Look through time and find your rhyme
Tell us what you find
We will wait at your gate
Hoping like the blind

Re: Nick Drake

Only made 3 LP's and rarely played before an audience but left some real gems.

Time has told me
You're a rare, rare find
A troubled cure
For a troubled mind
