Re: My beloved dog has a tumour

I'm very sorry to hear that but we've also had two dogs that died of cancer. The first one the vet tried to tell us it might be saved and we paid hundreds of pounds but sadly I think it just prolonged the animals suffering. When it happened for a second time, with a lovely dog, we just did the kindest thing.

I hear what you are saying ray.

So sorry that my sad predicament has brought a memory to the forefront. Thank you for your honesty xxx

A worrying time LQ, most of us that have loved and lost pets know how you must be feeling right now. Sending my best wishes to you both for a positive outcome..

Re: My beloved dog has a tumour

It's one of the worst words you can hear about you lovely dog isn't it, when we were told Elsie had a brain tumour we were devastated she was so young. But look at her now happy as that chap larry, and our bouncy girl may have her disabilities but get the most out of life every day. I am sure your beauty is getting best treatment she can and will surprise you by getting over this pretty fast. Usually the keeping them quiet after the op is most difficult bit in the end.

Re: My beloved dog has a tumour

WE used to say that if it feels attached to the skin and can be moved it is not malignant. However if it feels as if it attached to a bone and can,t be moved then the opposite is the case. How true this is ????? who knows
