Re: What do we know about Canada ++

Sorry realist, but apparently you are not aware of the monistic system in the UK. Parliament as*legislative arm must have complete freedom to monitor the executive arm, the cabinet. Legally the cabinet, as the executive arm of UK government, has aknowledged honoring the commitments. That is binding.
The parliaments ratifies the complete deal, but the fincial parts, in legally terms, are binding even if parliaments does not ratify the other parts of the deal.

Meanwhile the UK people sit back and enjoy cream tea and scones knowing they made the right decision. Free once more.
That's my thinking too, although I suspect that if we can manage to leave completely it will not happen like that because the EU are not stupid. They can see the consequences, but are taking full advantage of our weak PM and government.

Once it becomes perfectly clear to them that we are actually leaving, they will suddenly find that they can compromise after all.

Of course, this scenario does not take account of our corrupt politicians who clearly want us to remain in the EU.

As was stated quite clearly some time ago by JRM.

Despite all the criticisms that those jealous of him keep making, he is a knowledgeable and successful man.
