Re: Sleep

If death is like sleep, at least the dogs will be there...

jumping right on top of me just when I am finally out, hogging all the space, pulling the covers off, scratching me to pet them...

Better than the alternative, I suppose .

Re: Sleep

Sleep , ahhh those few seconds of quiet bliss just before you go off . For me sleep is when my soul flies free and refreshed , my body heals from the worries and stresses of the previous days , worries all seem a little easier and problems seem answered on waking . While sleeping I meet with those friends and loved ones who've moved on from this world . Sleep is peace .

I'm lucky I can sleep well. It must be dreadful for those who can't sleep .

I don't always sleep too well these days. I go to bed worrying about Brexit, calendars, smart meters, Christmas tunes, The nasty party............

Re: Sleep

You are over stimulated Longdogs. Try to think about fluffy kittens and cuddly puppies instead.

LD I think you have a dose of that awful condition Forumitis

I recommend not looking at screens of any kind for an hour before going to bed and reading a boring book instead

Re: Sleep

Sleep can be my best friend if I don't feel good. I always sleep myself better. It also helps me diet lol, I never wake up hungry so can get on with things without visiting the fridge. A 2 hour nap some afternoons helps me through the evening if we're heading out. Ah Yes, I like sleep.

Re: Sleep

How many sheep does one need to count to fall asleep?

The answer is far more than counting politicians!
