Yes. Allegations are very easy to make and are eagerly jumped upon by the left-wing press.

I take no notice of such sources as the (misnamed) Independent and the Grauniad.

We should also accept that her Civil Servants ARE beneath her. They work for her and she is their boss, though they might not like it!

The Electorate will have the final say on government policies at elections and if they don't like them they will kick them out.

No doubt he will find a sympathetic judge, who will award him a huge sum of money. After all judges are civil servants too.

The whole system needs to change and the sooner the better.
Hi

Really?

Just because they agree with you?

If Corbyn had won the situation would have been very different, following your logic the IRA could have run riot.

Of course you don't .....

Try the (rabid) Express:

https://www.express.co.uk/news/polit...johnson-latest

In a statement, Number 10 said the Prime Minister has "full confidence" in the Home Secretary and "considers this matter now closed".

The whole country will do a lot better if the do-nothings and the jobs-worths in the civil service were all fired.

Priti Patel has hopefully given them a good old kick up the ass which has been needed for a long time. Most of them wouldn't last a day in the private sector.

Trying to use the Express after those is hilarious!
But (again) woo-hoo, another desperate attempt by the pro-EU we-hate-the-government-because-of-Brexit stampy-feet types fails!
They must be running out of dummies to throw out the pram?

The Civil Service must look like The Bay Of Biscay to all right minded Politicians who find themselves trying to do any meaningful Management Swimming in there.

Puts my mind back in the into the 1960s where the Unions owned all of the Closed Shops and you had to toe the line or leave the Company - Management was about asking the union if a proposal was OK!!

I remember having to get a "Fully Skilled" Electrical Union Certificate in order to work at AEI.

Quite a few days off on strike!

Maggie saw what was happening! (Thanks Maggie).

With a bit of luck, the CS will be all "Artificial Intelligent" robots before long.

(No doubt there will have to be a setting for "left" or "Right" when they do - and in the Beeb!)

Health secretary says he feels proud to serve in a cabinet with Priti Patel

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-politics-55014486

Health Secretary Matt Hancock has told the BBC he is proud to serve in the cabinet with colleague Priti Patel.
Well, he would say that, wouldn't he .....

Re: Senior Home Office official QUITS after vicious rows with Priti Patel

The Left turned a blind eye to John Bercow’s allegations of bullying in the hope that he could overturn the plebs vote for Brexit, so please do feel free to take with a pinch of salt their protestations now over allegations of Priti Patel raising her voice at the Home Office.
