So pleasaed with this free fix

Recap

Some may remember some time ago I had a problem with seeing the picture on the rear screen of my Nikon D300.
It was almost impossible to see anything in bright sunlight of the picture taken let alone in the dark. what happens with this model is the atmosphere induces a haze behind the glass.

Some have sent the camera away for a wipe down but I came across this tip

I found ouit that if you put this or any camera with this problem into a sealed bag with silica gell eventually the moisture is draw out

here below is mine after a few weeks , ignore what the picture is of

The haze has completely gone and the camera is back to how it was originally.

This trick would also work on cameraphones or anything with a display.
I didn't believe it but gave it a go any yes it does work

This is also good for reducing the possibility of fungal growth on the sensor in Humid conditions.
I have a silicon gel bag in each compartment of my camera rucksack.

Yes good tip.
I always wonder what use I can make of those little silica bags. Will keep and use them all- but I guess they are only useful in enclosed spaces.
