7 bird visitors to my snowy garden ETA not Woodcock but Snipe

I think they are Woodcock there were 7 of them together I couldn't believe my eyes..

What a lovely sight, I have never seen birds like that ever in this country....those beaks are so long,I’m off to look them up online, to get a much closer look, thanks for sharing, Meg.

Yes, they are found in the UK, must be a suitable habitat, which you obviously have.

how lucky Meg, we get a wide range of birds in our garden but never a woodcock

Macy I live in the middle of the fields next to woodland and get a variety of birds, I am very lucky.

Don’t forget,Meg,lives out in the sticks, it’s a haven for wildlife ,some of which ,we have probably never seen.

I live in a built up area, very limited to what I see in my garden....but am very grateful for what I see.

Not only have you captured some rather lovely birds in your photos but you've got snow too!
Both of which combine to equal a lovely sight.

Meg how lovely I almost never seem to get anything exotic just Alfred Hitchcocks lot!
