I've never been to Eastbourne but it looks a nice place and you've tempted me to give it a visit.

Isn't it reckoned to be the retirement capital of Britain?

The town of the living dead, sort of flesh on skeletons sitting in deckchairs, and being serious here. Should suit you being the start of the Southdowns Way walk. Not to be missed.

The better side of Eastbourne, soon to be trashed forever.

Sorry, is this a one-man thread?

We live in Little common bexhill on sea. Lovely quite backwater in a cal de sac.
No traffic-no screeming kids -nice neighbours and quiet.

Added to that a beautiful 4 bed house

What more can one ask for. Please you added to the thread D.of F

Re: boats at Sovereign Harbour Eastbourne

Thank you Realspeed, that is a beautiful house. We do drive along that little coast road at Bexhill and thought we would like one of the properties.

The area around Beachy Head we use a lot, in particular the Cuckmere area, love it. Perhaps you will understand way this annoys me so very much, as in very much.

Took a picture from Worthing Pier during the week with my Cannon SX60/65. A small sail way out to sea, the boat turned out to be small with one person sailing it. What surprised me was all the French Coast could be seen behind it and the glinting of the sun from the windows. Sort of sat down and worked out the distance and the curvature of the earth and still sure it was France some 100 miles away.
Been to the Marina quite a few times but won't spoil your pictures.
