Can't understand why the powers that be think it necessary to blanket TV with Prince Philip. Much as I feel for Mrs. Queen and the rest of the family it was not exactly unexpected was it? I bought a paper this morning and that was full of him too.

Thoroughly enjoyed watched the coverage from Aintree this afternoon - wish I'd backed Rachael Blackmore though. She made history.

Sunny but very cold. Changed the bed and got that lot all out. Now back in dry and cold! Made a casserole for the lambing crew - nearly forgot to get it out of the oven, but it smells good!

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Did you all have the seven spots of rain that we had about 3 pm? Didn't last more than five minutes! We could really do with some soft April showers to freshen the grass up, the sheep are drinking from the tank like water is going out of fashion!

Big celebrations this evening. Eldest grandson has passed his tractor test this morning, so he is now legal to drive tractors and the Gator on the road. Off to collect takeaway from the Golf Club to celebrate together.

How I'd love a paddle in that sea and then a cup of tea with you afterwards Jac.

Picked the grandsons up from the school bus. Youngest is finding wearing a mask in school all day quite difficult. Keeps getting a headache. Poor dab.
