No, not really. It is only about 42 F today (5 C.) but my blood circulation is not that great anymore. Or perhaps I'm turning into a lizard who needs the sun.

Re: Spring. Please, please... Spring

Hi

Spring will be lovely, when it arrives.

My garden is just mud after all the rain, the lawn still has puddles on it.

The river has been too high to fish since October, just relentless rain and in six weeks it is the Close Season, so no fishing until June.

I am going stir crazy.

I hear that ! I once lived in Portland, Oregon where it rained 24/7, for months on end. But, at least here it seldom rains. Just too cold to be outside for very long. So, I keep as busy as I can, reading, cooking, baking and watching great flicks.

Re: Spring. Please, please... Spring

Snowdrops are out, other bulbs are in bud, there are tiny buds on the trees, and it slowly staying light longer. Today I noticed the grass is beginning to grow again too, so we must be patient, better times are on their way.

I love it when I see the first blossom trees in flower.

Nice! Camelia?

Our snowdrops have been out for a couple of weeks and the mini daffs are just starting to open. Here in NI our season is around 2-3 weeks behind the south of England.

Re: Spring. Please, please... Spring

I saw two lovely pink blossom trees out in full bloom today.
I do love to see them, especially against a beautiful blue sky background.

One of my roses which has bloomed throughout this winter, has Greenfly already!!
Perhaps this frost will kill the little blighters off tonight.
