Re: Have your culinary habits changed?

I find I am planning a lot more than I was before Covid. The four grandchildren are no longer eating here regularly and everything seems to be going further. I also make lists now where I didn't bother much before. Running down the freezer and pantry as well - I usually keep adding to it and I already had a lot of stuff in stock before the lockdown started. I now only cook a meal every other day (OH and I have both been slimming and cutting down. I am even rationing my chocolate and OH is rationing his whisky.

Hi

No food waste in our house except onion skins.

The very few bits of carrot ends etc go on the compost.

Re: Have your culinary habits changed?

I recently bought some luncheon meat in a tin, which I haven't had for years.
Apart from having it in a sandwich, I'm not sure what to do with it.

No not really Pauline, BUT, I need to eat less as I'm not swimming it off anymore. Sooooo hard for me as I love my food.

Not really changed exactly, Pauline, I always did cook healthy food from scratch anyway - but maybe I have become a bit more inventive about what flavours/spices/herbs to use when preparing meals. Just love to cook!
