Re: Walking Shoes

Do the British Police wear special shoes or boots?
They do walk a lot.
Are they good enough to give a villain a kick up the back side?

Also what about the Military their foot attire must be very hard wearing.

They don't walk as far as they used to Azure. If you want to know what the professionals wear, ask a postman...

Yep, and wearing shorts and running shoes is a hard habit to break Muddy....During some of my marathons I had to stop myself from running down peoples paths when running through housing estates....

I know! It surprised me too. Might be worth a look....
Thems good shoes Muddy, I've been wearing Merrell shoes and now I won't walk in anything else....Gore tex, so no wet feet.
Incidentally, the bloke that invented gore tex died yesterday...

These are mine favourite shoes for walking. Very well made and extra wide.

I've done some miles in my Merrells Bratti, and they are still going strong, although they have been relegated to gardening in now....I seriously need a new pair before winter...

I’ve been wearing them for years now. I’m needing a new pair also and usually get the high tops for winter. They are the most comfortable.

I bet you need the higher boot type where you live Bratti.
I'll post a picture of my new acquisition shortly....
