Viakal should be called dilutakal or do I have a bad batch?

I'm just wondering whether anyone here uses Viakal and has noticed that it's not as effective, frothy and useful in cleaning as it used to be. I am not sure whether I just ordered from a bad batch but it seems thin, lacking in foam and not leaving surfaces nice and shiny like it used to.

It's really annoying but maybe down to cost? Does anyone use anything that is equivalent to the original viakal formula that they would recommend. I'm really disappointed but couldn't find anything online to say that they had changed the composition.

Thank you for forcing me to look that up.
Viakal Classic Limescale Remover surface cleaning spray is ideal for removing even the toughest limescale and cleaning soapscum and watermarks in your bathroom and kitchen. Used regularly, Viakal limescale remover will provide clean and shiny surfaces every day. Its special formula respects your surfaces and helps prevent limescale return.

We've used Viakal for many years now. It's especially useful in hard water areas like the Southeast of England. We don't use it so much since we moved to Worcester and then onto the wilds and woolly wastes of Staffs because the water is softer and doesn't "fur" things up any where near as quickly as "dahn sarf".

I got rid of limescale in my toilet by using citric acid crystals. Diluted some in warm water, emptied most of the water from the w.c. and poured it in and left it for a few hours. Worked like a charm - all limescale gone. Now have a nice sparklingly clean closet.

Funny thing is I don't really use it for limescale at all. It was just a really good cleaner until they messed it up. Left everything shiny and sparkling.

Any cleaning product that's any good always seems to suffer the same fate. Perhaps it's because the product is too effective and they realise they are not selling enough. All sorts of cleaning sprays, oven cleaners etc have disappeared too over the years, due to Elf n safety.

I use the stuff here quite a lot because the water is so hard and I've not noticed any difference, and believe me I would.
Just recently opened a new squirter too.
So perhaps either a bad batch or it's been stored wrong (as in been frozen) maybe?
