Motoring Mouse!

My Daughter took her car, to a dealer, to get find out why she was getting engine shut downs & whether it could be fixed under warranty.

When the dealer lifted the bonnet a mouse jumped up out of the fuse box & raced across the engine to safety.

Dealer says that it's not unusual for mice to rest in there & even to stock up feedstuffs if the space is right.

There's a lot of chewed padding & stuff in there.

Today we opened up the car a cleaned out loads & loads of chewed tree fruits, of various kinds, and it looks as if the mouse got a lift back & resumed occupation.

Anyone else had this?

We've had worse. We brought the motohome home from morocco together with the nest of a nasty flying 'insect'
We had to call in fumigator. Never did identify it.

Re: Motoring Mouse!

I had a mouse in my car years ago when the car was kept in a garage and not used a great deal.
I heard a strange noise in the car and the garage found the mouse.

My car lives on the drive now and I don't have a problem.
I have also had a cat in the car . It was summer time, I had left the windows down on the car and drove to work one afternoon and on arriving there found a cat asleep on the back seat. I had to drive home and take it back again.
