France's Whopping Trade Deficit

Crikey,

Just clicked on the recent instalment by Jeff Taylor who explains the problems France is facing because of their EU membership.

Getting elected should be a walk in the park now for Le Penn.

That confirms what l have often stated on OFF Bread !
That UKs world trade has been subsidising our membership of EU
since we have been members !!
I can't believe that our "leaders" can't see that ??

Hi

For the avoidance of doubt our trade deficit in 2918 was much bigger at £142 Billion.

Re: France's Whopping Trade Deficit

Pretty much the rest of the EU has been subsidising Germany since it was the EEC as any person with even a smidgin of intelligence would see if they looked.
Mind you, the Netherlands and even Italy aren't that far behind.
Being a protectionist racket what else would you expect?

It would be, because we were in the EU. The EU CAP, as just one example, meant our farming exports were curtailed because of the subsidies farmers received to favour France's and force us to import to make up the shortfall.

Are you having a Specsavers moment?

I said that the EU had been subsidising Germany and I have demonstrated how by showing their huge surplus as opposed to the deficit of others.
It really isn't that difficult to understand, is it?
