Hello Annelouise, Welcome to the forum. Hope you enjoy your stay here.I assume from your post you have been nursing in a hospital. Have you considered moving into industrial nursing? Pay is much better, far less stressful, better hours - what's not to like.
If you want a complete change of career, I suggest you go to the employment office and enquire about re-training schemes.

Good luck with the career change, how about any real interests or hobbies that you could do as a new career? It all really depends on what you wish to do and your circumstances. If you wanted to use your existing skills an employment agency, who have advisors, may be able to give you advice on how to use those to further a new career.
Personally and from my own experience, I would never again work for someone else, it would be working for myself as I did for some years before retiring. Far more rewarding in so many ways, personal achievement and financially too.
