Scary Pockets
This post is for anybody who likes good, funky music and fine musicianship. I know it's not going to be to everybody's taste. JUst enjoy it if you like jazz and funk. If not, tune out. First we have The one and only Maceo Parker. It's an old clip but still makes you want to.."Shake Everything You Got!"
Recorded at The Blue Note, NYC but I can't be sure of that. Second we have Scary Pockets. These great young musicians from LA are more of a collective than a regular fixed lineup. A couple of core members and a constant stream of guests. We have an outfit here in Melbourne like that called The Bamboos. I love this number. I defy you to not get your foot tappin' !
