Recommendations please

Can anyone recommend a lawn strimmer please? My Flymo Contour - which must be at least 11 years old has recently died!

Thanks. There's a Stihl FSA45 Cordless Grass Trimmer on offer for £89 - description is "Lightweight cordless grass trimmer with integrated lithium-ion battery, with charge level indicator.
Is that the same model as yours?

Re: Recommendations please

No mine has the battery and charger separate, that one has the battery integrated, wasn't available when i got mine, sounds a better idea, but the whole machine will have to go to a power outlet for charging

Re: Recommendations please

If the battery and/or charger needs replacing - it's easier to have one like yours - and yours is probably lighter too. Weight is obviously a factor....... as is power.

I'll see what models are available - thanks for your help.

Re: Recommendations please

The other downside of an integrated battery is where is the machine stored during winter, lithium batteries don't like cold weather, my separate battery is kept in the house
