It’s quite hard to grow Roses from seed, no impossible but most people. Will take a cutting from an existing rose. My wife picked up a broken rose branch in the car park of our local garden a couple of years ago, planted it up and grew into a lovely bush

No idea how it got there, but it could have been in a birds poo I suppose, lucky it dropped in the window box, or, it might have come from a seed in the compost I used when I put new stuff in for the Pansies.

I don't think I will have to Vlad, it's been there for 4 years now & never grows big, it like a mini rose, even the flowers & leaves are smaller han a normal sized rose. It could have been a miniature one to start with.
