Waspinators

Has anyone here ever tried one of these, and if so, did it work?

Apparently they have to be kept dry, so you can't just hang them out in the open to get rained on.

I nearly got one last year Mags, but left it too late.

I am hoping someone here might use them so I know whether it's worth buying one or not.

They don't harm, or kill wasps, apparently they just think there is already a nest there, so go elsewhere to make theirs.

No, I don't think so Mags.

In the link in the first post, if you scroll right down a fair way, there is a short video of Monty Don talking about waspinators.
He has one in his greenhouse to keep the wasps off his grape vines.

Re: Waspinators

One of my neighbours had a couple of those last year - they worked brilliantly for him. Only problem was - I ended up with his share of wasps as well as my own!
