Losing Stuff.

Hi

I am a nightmare.

I can lose anything and everything, I spend hours looking for things.

I am on serious anticoagulants, so, got an electric shaver.

Charged it up, used it for 4 days and now cannot find the charger.

Re: Losing Stuff.

Are you saying that your new razor needs recharging after just 4 shaves (days), Swimmy? I've had mine for 3 or 4 years now and it still lasts for about 21 shaves before it needs recharging.

Hi

Always had a problem with electrics Percy.

The slightest drag and they redden my skin.

Re: Losing Stuff.

This morning I searched in all cupboards and in the area under my stairs, for my flask. Eventually I spotted it, on the kitchen worktop, near the kettle and beside the coffee maker. In full view, really.

Re: Losing Stuff.

I regularly lose things. The plot, my mind, my faith in human nature, my temper, track of time, my marbles, my way.

The one thing I have trouble losing is weight

Love it! I agree with every point, unfortunately!

I rarely lose anything, much too organized for my own good.

Well, there is that temper thing......but not half as much as when I was younger. Now it's mostly over someone else's stupidity, not my own.

Re: Losing Stuff.

There is always something lost with me. Most seriously are my glasses and my keys - once I lost my keys for a fortnight!

I lose other things too.

Currently I can't find: My sharp hairdressing scissors to give Tony a haircut, a packet of hooks & eyes that I need for a top I'm altering, a pkt of first class stamps, my best umbrella & a pkt of 3 inks for my printer which came by post the other day.

It drives me mad at times but I can't seem to change the way I am - I sling things down anywhere and then they're lost!!

I stop bothering & they turn up eventually.

I try and put things in the same place, Carol, so I remember where they are - just keys and mobile phone mainly. Everything else that I don't use that often but need....like memory stick for laptop, plant food, dog stuff....I write in a little notebook and keep it by the house phone in the hall, for when I need them. Its immensely helpful....so long as you don't lose the notebook, hahaha!

Re: Losing Stuff.

Oh Carol, you did make me chuckle.

Pixie, that sounds like a good idea, the whereabouts notebook, but as you say, that can easily be mislaid too.
