Hi

An interesting article.

The military contribute a negligible amount to climate change.

This is not a responsible use of resources.

Re: We have got our priorities wrong.

I thought one of military's central missions was to (threaten to) break things.

Can you have a green war?

In peacetime, a military should absolutely adhere to reasonable expectations, but they should never be a laboratory for social change or even climate change if doing so detracts from the mission.

So if the British army is about to attack you go and hide in a wood.

The military should stick to defending (in our case) the UK and British people within its own borders in addition to protecting and securing those borders.

The British military should NOT go wandering off interfering in other countries and especially NOT becoming involved with the USA antics.

As for contributing to environmental pollution the amount of pollution from vehicles be they those that fly or surface things - it's HUGE.

Then there's the toxic materials used such as depleted uranium, heavy metals in various forms and toxic chemicals released.
