Which door is safe?

One morning, little Mary got trapped in a castle in Costa Rica. There were 4 doors, but only one led to freedom. The doors opened up to the following:



1. Lava that would immediately melt anyone
2. A killer clown that would beat any person to death
3. A deadlock frost that would freeze her at once
4. Cops that would shoot any man or woman indiscriminately

Which door should Mary choose and why?

OK they all seem pretty deadly. The only things I can think of are..:-

1. You say little Mary. Unless she is a midget, that suggests that she is a child. In which case she is not a man or a woman. The cops only shoot men and women? So she could choose the cop door. OR..Little mary is not human at all..A dog?..a cat?...A wayward Python?...In which case she should also be safe with the cop door.

OR

2. The castle is in Costa Rica. Right on the Equator. Not much chance of a frost there?..Not sure what a "deadlock" frost is but. Maybe that's a bogus door and there is no frost.

Mary should not have gone to Costa Rice in the first place, costa coffee maybe, but that aside, she could chose any door, because when one door closes, another door opens.

The doors aren't numbered. Do you mean the door with the killer cops?
