new camera rig

Thought I would see what the new camcorder looked like with it all set .

Sony handycam fitted with a UV filter -Sennheiser MKE400 Microphone- Nikon SK-7 extn bar- CN160 light all on a Moman tripod with a Moman pan head.

On really windy days I use a wind deflector (deadcat) which the demo later on will show how good it is.
This deadcat having such long hair those hairs showed up in the viewer






so how to get over the problem I used

for extra strength and a couple of rubber washers so nothing locks up. can be seen fitted photo above

Deadcat test, second half really cut out that deep rumble. Test infront of a desk fan( different camera used for test)

I didn't expect such a huge difference in noise reduction, RS - but then I haven't every used a deadcat (what an uncomfortable word to use!). Good purchase!
