Remembering Artemios "Demis" Ventouris-Roussos

How many members, like me , remember Demis Roussos and his tremorous near falsetto voice that could raise arm hair as his voice progress through his song?

I liked his music but it always amazed me that such a large man produced such a falsetto voice - like a lion meowing instead of roaring!

His son, Cyril, is the image of him - minus the kaftans - but Demis was the better singer.

I was never really a great fan of Demis Roussos, although I appreciate he had a great (if unusual!) voice. I did love Nana Mouskouri though, thought she was wonderful.
