Climate protest

Justifying vandalism.

Missing the point completely if they are expecting wider support.

“You may dislike our action today but I ask you to compare a crack in a window to funding wildfires and flooded homes,” said Sophie Cowen, a 30-year-old campaigner from London.

Re: Climate protest

"None-violent direct action"? What do you call smashing windows?

And you wonder why they're trying to introduce a bill to stop this kind of mindless thuggery. Peaceful protest is one thing, but riots and vandalism is another. A pity that the cops couldn't find a friendly farmer with a slurry sprayer while these vandals were sat down.

Re: Climate protest

Destroying something so that more energy will have to be expended to repair it. Brilliant .

It is difficult to get people on the bandwagon when "the voice of reason" has the logic of a box of rocks.

Poor darlings

I remember when I was young we'd sell secrets to the Russians ... load of queers they were.

Anyway, there's not much to protest about these days. And getting arrested has gone a bit clinical if that video is anything to go by.
