It will be our 59th anniversary this year. We have always held hands when out walking. The last year or so it's been more a case of keeping each other vertical.

Probably held hands with boys in my youth but moved on to
"linking up" when it got serious ,
have no one to do either with now .I wouldn't want to hold hands even so now.

Holding hands is for teenagers, when I see old people doing it I assume it's because they're unsteady on their feet!
