Re: Why the rich stay rich and the poor stay poor
Interesting clip but it's extremely low level and is only covering the basics.
I like that he cited The Matrix and that he understands what it is saying. It's a film everyone should watch and then watch again until they understand the real message.
There is no question at all that we are all programmed from birth by people and systems that have been in place for a very long time.
Our very notions that the basic structure and phases of life are:
1. You are born
2. You go to school
3. You get a job
4. You get a boyfriend/girlfriend
5. You get married, get a house and have kids
6. You go to your doctor when you are sick
7. You get old and inform
8. You die with a decent innings being around 85-100 years
are simply all ideas we have been programmed with.
If you ask any couple, "why did you get married?"
They will come back with statements of :
"we love each other, want to spend the rest of our lives together, etc etc"
But that's not any answer at all. That's NOT what marriage is. Marriage is a piece of paper. A gentleman's contract drawn up by society.
Anyone can love anyone else quite freely. Anyone can spend the rest of their lives with someone else quite freely. We don't need a bit of paper for that.
Marriage is a conditioned state. We do it because it exists in society, because we see it all around us, because society has shaped itself around that model.
Why do we go to work? Because we need money to buy things., the essentials, food, drink, clothes, a home, a car etc.
The concept of working is simple to take on board and it was drummed into us from childhood and right through school years which then saw many young people move on to university.
Study hard and you'll get a degree and a good job and career.
This is again just programming. It is conditioning using techniques that have been handed down for 100s of years.
It is conditioning used to create a slave workforce.
Look around you. Where do you actually live?
You live on a planet that is self sustaining.
A planet full of abundance.
That planet is one of Air, Earth, Water and Fire
Those things constantly combine to produce endless vegetables, flowers, herbs, trees and of course animals.
Many people are financially miserable and moan that they have little. They moan that if they put what little money they have in a savings account they get bugger all interest paid.
Yet these same people live on this planet which is a powerhouse of productivity and abundance.
Any one of us, rich, poor, young, old can take a single ear of wheat, pop it in the ground, watch it grow and have at the end of that cycle a piece of wheat which will have at its tip, 50 wheat kernels !
Wow ! That's some investment scheme. You start with 1, and then you get 50.
Plant those 50 wheat kernels and they each return 50 more so then you have 2500. Plant those and you get 125,000 and plant those and you get 6,250,000 !
In just 4 growing cycles you have gone from 1 single kernel of wheat to getting over 6 million.
The Earth is like this for most living and growing things. Plant a courgette seed and you will get a plant that delivers lots of courgettes, maybe 10-20 per plant and EVERY one of those courgettes produced is packed with lots of seeds to make more plants.
It's the same principle. The principle of Nature's abundance.
How then can anyone on this planet not be sharing in this abundance?
The answer is simply conditioning, programming.
You were not conditioned to appreciate Earth's natural abundance. You were taught to be dependent on the state, dependent on government. You were taught that you had to buy all the food and drink you need using bits of paper they call money. You were not generally taught to plant your own food and be self-sustaining.
You were taught that you needed to go to work every day to acquire more bits of paper to buy things from your product providers. Food, clothes, utilities, houses, cars, sports equipment, books, Netflix subscriptions, mobile phones etc.
It's conditioning that is 100s of years old.
Don't get me wrong, we all need to work, but only to an extent.
Your efforts can go towards different things.
If you allow yourself to be plugged into the "Matrix" style of conditioned life, then you will end up working all your life for someone else (your employers) and you will get your monthly wage but will never be in a position of abundance.
People in this life are being exploited plain and simple. Their lives are far from Nature. There is little freedom, jollity, playing and laughing. It's all work, and when it's not work you are dog tired, hungry and try to occupy your little free time with things to cheer you up. And those things cost money, so again you have to keep working to be able to afford all these things you think you need and want and it's an everlasting cycle. Usually a cycle of misery.
Essentially you have become a slave, caught in a very carefully planned and long standing system of conditioning that produces entire countries of slave workforces.
Why is it that people are not putting their work efforts towards something that follows Nature's principle of abundance?
Plant 1, get 50 ?
Why do people essentially settle for the metaphorical equivalent of planting 1 and reaping 1 in return?
What is the point of that? You will never ever get ahead, you will work until you die.
So how do you effectively plant 1 and get 50?
There are numerous ways.
You can write a book and sell it. The work and effort of writing it happens once, but then the book is sold over and over constantly earning you revenue. Look at J K Rowling!
You can grow fruit and vegetables using Nature's own abundance. You will work for some years reaping the profits from that abundance and should be able to later pack the whole thing in.
You can start a plant and flower nursery. Taking initially a wide set of plant seeds and shoots and letting Nature do her thing to reproduce them and produce an abundance of those plants. Once established you have a business predicated on Nature's free abundance which is very lucrative.
You can buy any small piece of land and plant anything that is commercially viable and sell the produce using Nature's abundance. There is a small piece of land that was on my former route to work that someone used for that. He planted willow type reeds and within 1-2 years it was bursting with them.
You can learn to paint and produce desirable pieces of art which can then be professionally copy printed and sold. So the effort in creating 1 art piece, ends up with the sale of many pieces. It's again the principle of abundance.
Many of the chickens we eat in the UK come from various chicken farms like Moy Park. It's a self-sustaining business. Chickens lay many eggs which create more chickens which are sold in the supermarkets. The principle of abundance.
You can I'm sure think of countless other ways in which some people use the principle of abundance to establish revenue streams for themselves.
Why is it that some people follow that route of abundance and get rich whilst others just sit in an office doing a 9-5 job that produces absolutely nothing for them personally except a meagre monthly wage?
The answer is conditioning. They were conditioned from childhood to become a slave, to be dependent. They were conditioned to believe that you have to work for someone else for a simple wage rather than setting up something yourself which is founded on the principle of abundance.
Thereby do we distinguish the manufacturers from the grunts. The "achievers" from the "non-achievers".
Whilst we are conditioned we don't believe we could ever do any of these fantastic things that generate revenue with abundance. We don't believe we could write a good book. We don't believe we could open up a plant nursery.
We instead found that we had been trained in office work, or IT, or engineering, or plumbing or nursing and so on. So our careers went in that direction and once established the thought of ditching all that experience and starting over, with something completely new, completely re-training, is both daunting and seems undesirable. . . . . and yet people remain miserable, caught in their conditioned lifestyles undertaking their miserable boring jobs !
Such is the power of conditioning.
Meanwhile the Earth keeps spinning and keeps providing an infinite abundance of the things we need. Why can't we see it and copy it?
The hardest thing any of us will do in our lifetime, is to recognise the ways in which we have been conditioned and programmed and to manage to break free of them. It is extremely difficult to do.
Unless we do it though, we will remain slaves in a carefully constructed Matrix existence which doesn't care about us, which exploits us and which will eventually spit us out when it has no further use for us.
We all have a choice. We can all feel that niggling sensation that tells us that there is surely more to life than what we are currently experiencing. Like an itch we can not scratch, a splinter in our minds. The one thing that holds most of us back from all of this is our conditioning. The false belief that we can't achieve and that we will only ever be good for a 9-5 job. We can imho choose a better way.
