Feeling happy happy happy

Managed to get a night with no one coughing so all refreshed this morning, and managed to dress myself for first time in a week except for socks which proved a struggle too far.

Also managed to get from bedroom to living room with out my wheelchair. So on the way up again which cheers me up no end.

Won't attempt the stairs until I am less shaky though so another day at home but I am putting the finishes to some craft projects so quite happy sat here surrounded by materials and dogs.

What is making you happy today ?

Re: Feeling happy happy happy

I have MS it comes and bites me on the bum every so often and I get angry and disappointed at myself when I can't walk and manage my life with out help. No one here minds helping me but I hate asking.

But I am lucky it comes and goes some people have a worse time with it than me. Very very lucky.

Re: Feeling happy happy happy

So sorry Julie ... I do know you have MS but didn't realise that you have periods when it is so bad that you are confined to a wheelchair, etc.

I don't know how you manage to work with this illness as I have come across people suffering from it so I know how debilitating it is.

Anyway ... I'm pleased you are feeling happy and upbeat today ... hope it continues

Re: Feeling happy happy happy

I am very lucky when I can't work my family rally round and go in for me, also when I do work I only do a 2 1/2 hour job which sometimes takes me a lot longer but my employer doesn't mind as long as the job is done well. I was taken off the stairs cleaning a while ago as I am a bit unsafe at times, but I have a lift to the third floor and level area to clean and all the people I clean for are really lovely and support me working.

Re: Feeling happy happy happy

Hi Julie glad to hear that you are feeling a little better today and are keeping yourself occupied with crafts.

You are very lucky to have such a good support group and a boss that is easy going.

Keep going

Today is lovely as it is sun shining outside, it is dry which helps and all seems right with the world. Long may it continue.
