We got a new $5 note recently too, the problem is that all the self service checkouts, drink, snack and poker machines etc didn't recognise it until they are up dated.

Our self service tills are giving them out, not tried putting them in yet

I've just been passed one of the new plastic five pound notes, and have noticed that the serial number is 5555555555.

Do you think that it might be worth something?
