My bookmark is still http:/... but when I logged in the usual warning about an unsecure site was gone and the URL was https:/

Occasionally the padlock has a warning exclamation mark on it but the system seems to cope with the htttp/https difference without a problem. I am using Firefox.

I think that comment to d00d was valid at the time it was made but since then Azz changed things to force https, so anyone who hadn't changed the the bookmark would now be on https anyway.

Not what I wanted to do initially (as we're still testing it) but at least now all pages are https

Any probs, please let me know

We have also enabled secure connections, via https, so a padlock should appear next to the https://www.over50sforum.com URL when you click into the forum via https.

I have not 'forced' https as of yet (so you can still get to the forum via normal http), just in case there are any problems - if you notice any, please let us know!

There IS one problem to be aware of though, any images in threads that are not uploaded directly to the forum (so hot linked from sites such as photobucket) may trigger your browser to report that the page contains insecure elements (i.e those photos, since they themselves may not be hosted on an https site). Unfortunately on this forum there is no way to get around that - so just upload your photos via the attachments system, instead of hotlinking to images on other sites whenever possible.

If you notice any other issues please let us know
That answers why I had to re-enter my log in details, blowed if I could remember my password at first.
