Would You Consider This New Cosmetic Trend....Bone Shaving?

It seems bone shaving is tipped to become the latest trend in cosmetic surgery. The very thought of it makes my legs go funny!
It’s bad enough thinking of a surgeon coming towards you, wielding a knife but for this procedure, it will be a chisel! Eeek!

You can have bone shaved off your jaw, your nose and even your feet. You can probably say, ‘Goodbye’ to your bunions!

It sounds gruesome but is it something, you might consider?

Art I wouldn't consider any 'cosmetic trend' and definitely not that procedure, I like individuality and imperfections in people it adds character.

Having a general anaesthetic carries a risk, having one for an unnecessary procedure doesn't make any sense to me.

Meg, l can never understand why anyone has unnecessary operations for vanity reasons.

I had a friend who was theatre sister and was present at many cosmetic procedures. She said, if people viewed what happens during one of these operations, they wouldn’t have it done.
She told me, during a face-lift, your face is literally lifted off! She also, said, people don’t realise it is not a simple operation, it is major surgery.

Yet, some people, go back for more, over and over again!

As for, having your bones shaved.... Eeeek!

I wouldn't do it - but to each his own. I certainly do not want to see it being done by the NHS!
