Hi Teeps I love Whippets they are such quiet gentle dogs.

My neighbour had 2 from the same litter for many years, one died and the other one never got over it and soon followed .

He is the best dog I have ever had I have to say. He's so gentle and sleeps so much. When he was young he could outrun any other dog when off the lead.Unfortunately he was on the lead when the other dog was loose and she came straight for him and took a chuck out of him

Lovely dog , I had a whippet years ago and she was such a happy but laid back dog. Sorry to hear about smelly, hope he's recovered now. Must have been upsetting for you too

Not owned a dog since I was 15, but if I were to own another it would be
