Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

I cant believe it either
Overcast here and light rain just started. Wasn't expecting it and so my bit of washing is sitting on the line . I suppose I'll have to bring it in soon .
Have seen some planes over the bay earlier .Not a nice day for it

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Approximately 5 spots of rain here yesterday - whereupon I rushed out and shut the car windows, brought the patio chairs in and shut the patio umbrella - and the rain stopped. Suppose we'll have a hosepipe ban shortly, don't know how I'll water the tomatoes and beans then!

Bus trip to Webbs of Wychbold today, very enjoyable but had to sit in a cool room when we got home at 6.30 pm to cool off and recover from a rather bumpy trip in a minibus!

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Had a lovely family lunch to celebrate son no 1's birthday. What was going to be a small gathering wasn't!
G.granddaughter had been quite poorly the last few days but by today she was nearly back to her normal happy little self.
It's been trying to rain here.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Went to do my shopping in Llandrindod this morning (before the heat of the day) and managed to find the tapestry wool I needed in the little wool shop there, I'm a happy bunny. Bought a new book to read while the TV is full of footie.

Another hot hot day on the cards. My poor garden could do with rain-in the night please.Think I'll have to tell my lawn mower man not to bother this week, hardly any green there.
Enjoy the sun but keep
