The vast majority of those that voted remain accept what happened and are anxious to get it over with. Here in London, on various local/community websites, the LibDem2ndReferendum brigade try to drag us along to the demos but of course we're not interested. There was one in June, some papers say 100,000 from all over the country attended, nearer 10,000 I'd say.

if locals don't have 'skill sets' then they have probably NEVER had them and therefore the training systems are incorrect - who are teaching the trades these days and is it sufficient and 'best matched'?you can have too many in uni and not enough in polytechnics [if they still exist] Kids leaving school directly will definitely not have the skill sets.
maintaining full employment in any country is not playing with magic balls - it should be 'scientifically' managed as partially described above. I have been involved in 'adult education and training' for a longtime - sometimes everyone wants to go to uni cos they think it's the best and suddenly we have too many uni students who do not have the right skill sets!!
