I dont think this woman was stupid .She's not a criminal she's a professional going on holiday for five days with her husband and small child
Perhaps she didn't realise her visa was out of date .
She's not a criminal and it's not a crime to have a glass of wine on an Emirates airline .
The customs man was being an AH .

Turns out her visa was not out of date but according to the official was only good for one trip .He insisted she brought a return ticket immediately.
She had just had an eight hour flight with a four year old .
This is bullying by a man to a woman .
She was only going for five days holiday and had been ther several times before she offered to buy another visa .
So what if she had a minuscule amount of alcohol in her blood
alcohol offered on the plane by Dubais OWN airline !
Obviously they don't want visitors .
Never holiday in Dubai .

You have to be so careful what you say & do abroad Their views & rules are not like ours,they are not so liberal minded, & women are not given much consideration ,That poor woman is still locked up in Iran/Iraq during a visit with he litttle daughter to her parents.Despite pleas that she is innocent & her healt is suffering,& pleas by her English husband & Boris Johnson,no compassion is being shown & she is not being allowed to go free & return home|
