You can just pull them up when they small, we spend quite a while making sure original tree doesn't have babies sprouting up all around the communal grounds, just a simple weeding job a few times a year.

Yes and some are quite pretty. There are a few growing round my garden with lovely blue flowers...but I don't know what they are.
I gave up on gardening when I found that the wildlife preferred a "natural" garden.

You are probably doing a great job just letting the wildlife have a sanctuary twink. They are pushed out of many gardens, we try to have a wildish corner to help them survive, have a little mouse under the shed and he seems to love the wilder corner.

Well my pc is a desktop and the desk faces the window, so as I am typing I often see Foxes, rabbits and a few pheasants along with the many other birds. When I put food out for the foxes, 2 weeks ago, I even saw a little mouse climb into the bowl and have a taste before the foxes got here.
