Re: Stolen !

Good idea Joe - I think you could well find it of you put the feelers out, ask friends and neighbours in the area too, as well as any shops you are friendly with.
Time to be a Miss Marple gal ......

Re: Stolen !

I was an indoor pool lifeguard for a while, well a number of times in fact, and moved around a bit to different pools on a 125cc Honda motorbike. Had to work in a rough area for a few days and the first day there bloody kids nicked my bike and threw in the river. Cracking bike though - I dragged it out and it restarted!

Little sods.

Re: Stolen !

I'd also put a postcard in the local shop window. If you could possibly add a photograph, even better. The more local people that know, the better, and occasionally, some thieves have been known to have a conscience even. I'd get that card written out NOW.

Re: Stolen !

Maryl made a good point, hopefully it will be found, probably worth offering a small reward, so upsetting that it was stolen like this.

Re: Stolen !

Having our postcode stamped on the frame got my bike back, was locked in a cycle rack with a D lock.

That's a good idea. I used to engrave my kid's bikes with my driving licence number (0ur post codes cover a whole suburb).
