Good afternoon all. Late again (how very remiss of me.)Just returned from a supermarket shop stock up, and popped in to the library (return a book, renew others and picked up another (brand new) by fave author.)
Weather not bad, but could be warmer. Looking forward to tomorrow, if the forecast is correct.

Good morning, group. I have been missing a little while...nothing wrong except winter blues...it has been so cold and snowy, seeming to never end. Really got me down.
Took this photo one year ago...I have not been there to see it now but I am certain the pilot boat is not in the river yet and neither are the lake frieghters. Still solid ice over the great lakes, all of them up to 9 feet thick, 2 days above freezing is not going to help the ice melt much. I am on the US shore and that is Canada on the far shore..I live about 10 miles away...sometimes when the trees are bare we can see the lights from Canada from home.
Alan, lovely photo this morning..is it woodbine? Here it is called Virginia Creeper. One of the old silos here is loaded with it. Very colorful at the end of summer. ShirleyMarie
