Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Did my Asda order this morning and have already thought of a few things I've forgotten. Never mind, I'll manage until next week.

It's like autumn here today, blowing a hooley and rain showers. I put the heating back on about 3 pm.

Overcast this morning.
Looking forward to next week-son no2 coming across the bridge for a visit, either Tuesday or Wednesday.Don't know how long he'll stay-hope it'll be more than one night but however long it'll be lovely to spend some time with him, haven't seen him since January.
Have a good day.

WHITE RABBITS! Can't believe it's July. This year is going past faster than the one before. Bit chilly here and we've had rain so the washing is drying indoors.

Still photocopying photos for granddaughter's book. Won't it be good to have one Christmas present done and dusted?

Put potatoes in the oven to bake and still struggling with the same jigsaw. Put a load of laundry in but not sure whether to put it on the line. Looks rather grey out there. Youngest grandson has gone to school today (and will be going tomorrow) so I'm going to collect him from the bus and take him to his home (starting my "bubble" a couple of days early). Fingers crossed.

Bit dismal out this morning, rain forecast later.
Went Tesco shopping early this morning.Spent more than usual, got goodies ready for son's visit on Monday. He's asked for home made faggots-haven't made them for yonks.
Hope the first minister doesn't change his mind about allowing people to travel and mix or I'll be be eating the food I've bought for ages!
Have a good day.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

I love Talking Heads Jac. Missed most of yesterday's because I was pottering about in the kitchen after tea. (The antique dealer who missed out on the painting of a finger).

It's like November here! Was very late on parade this morning - misread the clock, thought I was getting up at 7.30 and it turned out to be 8.30! Felt so guilty - which is stupid!

Good gracious Rhosyn, I've never made faggots in my life - don't they contain loads of different bits and bobs? My butcher makes good ones.

Just heard that Kington (about 10 miles away) has closed the Pharmacy because a member of staff has tested positive for Covid 19. Bit too close to home for comfort......
