I just wish Brits would rise up and demand a more democratic system in our own Parliamentary system.Once we leave EU, let’s not stop there - let’s get rid of unelected Lords AND demand Proportional Representation in the House of Commons, instead of the FIrst Past The Post system we have had thrust upon us by those who seek to control us.
Generally speaking, British voters are pretty pathetic when it comes to accepting the choices dished out by the two main parties, voting for one until they push their luck too far or their incompetence can no longer be ignored, then the other party gets a term or two until they take things too far the other way, and so it goes on, like the monotonous never-ending swing of a pendulum.
Tick Tock, nothing will change under this system.
The best thing about leaving EU is that successive UK Governments will no longer be able to hide behind EU regulations for their own inept government and decisions.

I believe that Nigel Farage has said that, in a position to do so, he'd discontinue the existence of the Lords in its present form, and specified that it should be replaced by a smaller, elected body.
Of course, whether his Brexit Party / Reform Party will ever be in such a position in the future depends entirely upon us, the voters.

The best we can hope for is a co-operation between Boris and Nigel,
