Agree Percy, Boris knows his political career would be toast if he gives one inch on the trade talks. In fact, I would go as far as to say that if he does, the empty plinth of the statue the mob removed will make a handy base for a guilllotine!!

The fact is Solly that end of june was supposed to decide if it
was worth continuing with negotiations, as Barnier had stated
last week no progress had been made, then he should have
called ot the talks? But he didnt! He fiddled it so that he gained
another 4 months before having to call the talks off?
So my opinions were based on a single incontravertible FACT that
Barnier shifted the decision date 4months down the road to avoid us
finally on both sides accepting the fait accompli of our exit?
As things stand uk will be out in october barring any other interventions!!
Barnier has only delayed certainty day by 4 months!!!

I should add that any statues that are taken down should be replaced by statues of Boris and Frosty after December 31st!

Why not put the live figures on it? They can then enjoy the applause from you and the other remaining brexiters.

No, just keeping to your own law. I understand that to be a novel feature of british politics. In januari boris enshrined in british law that an extension would not be requested.

This didn't keep a bunch of your mp's from sending barnier a letter requesting one. Barnier redirected them to the british government. A blamage for britain!
