You are right. I have searched many news sites for any news on the end of the extension deadline but found absolutely nothing.

Very suspicious...

Empty threats from the most unpopular man in France.

All Macron is doing is flexing his muscles to try to appeal to voters, but unfortunately he is wasting his time. En Marche looks like it just En Marche'd over Le Cliff Edge.

Re: Extension Deadline

Hi

We have just Recommissioned HMS Severn, a Fisheries Protection Vessel, which is a start.

Fisheries is a very emotive subject ob both sides.

Financially it is minimal, turnover is less than Harrods.

Financial Services we are still getting nowhere with, but are progressing with Switzerland.

Things will definately change on 1st January but how exactly we still do not know.

Why the hell doesn't the UK move to the same time as Europe?

Because the 0 meridian which ALL time is based on was
conceived in the uk, and the meridian passes directly through
Greenwich, which happens to be in the UK?
Couldnt google tell you that?

Hi

Because we have the Meridian, Greenwich Mean Time, every other time zone is measured against it.

Could be Bread?
But with such a huge majority it wouldnt be difficult to reverse the
law !
Maybe worried about the epidemic of protest spreading as well?
Anyway its just another brick in the wall imo!!

Donkeyman, you are right. Imo it is completely unlikely for Both B.Johnson and the EU to change that. BJ would lose his face and so would the EU.

Besides we all know that an extension would not create any benefit.
As long as the red lines remain on both sides (which I expect) there cannot be an agreement, no matter how long we wait.
