Re: Note for Muddy

I know it’s because the box does not hold many messages .
So one message is about 10% of the box !

I know, strangely, since I have made a contribution, I have noticed that I am allowed hundreds of messages. I have not had to delete any for months now.

Yes, how you do it escapes me for the moment (like most thongs these days). I only pay the lower amount £5 but decided to do so when I got a part time job as the forum is good value and entertainment.

How does this work, Dongle?
Make a contribution to what, and to whom?
What happens then?

You can become a paid supporter of the site at different levels, which gives you a greater storage capacity for your messages and also removes all the adverts.
Just go to the forum help and leave a message there for the mods.

FGS I only want to save a darn document to my document file what is this .

Yes, I have heard about this kind of problem with Windows. Not really having experience with Windows, only once and that was a disaster, I can only really comment on Macs. As far as it goes with me I create the required folders on the hard drive, then when saving anything I have the option of what to call that file and then the option of where to save it. Knowing what folders are on the hard drive I then save that file to whichever folder I choose. If I decide to have Folders within Folders I then just create those. The computer is after all controlled by me and not the other way round, that's how I see it!

I guess though it's like anything, once you become familiar with something it becomes easier.
