Traits,Habits, Quirks and Superstitions
Traits, Habits, Quirks or Superstitions.As we have grown up many of us have inherited or picked up certain Habits/Ways.
My mother would hit the roof if I crossed knives on the table, my wife its no shoes on the table…. Sure these are more of superstitions, which I don’t believe, but if I see knives crossed on the table or chopping board, I find myself uncrossing them.
I sleep on the right hand side of the bed, Mrs M has the middle and left hand side of the bed, why ? I’m sure there were once a reason…. But now where ever we stay, even when she’s away, I sleep on the right side of an empty bed.
Also, if I have a cuppa, the Milk goes in last.
I also have bad habits according to Mrs M, Like, having always to be right… And she likes to have the word.
I have a friend who has tomato ketchup on his Sunday roast diner.

Obviously we learn fear, but can fear or other traits be genetic ?
Are traits in our DNA passed down through the generations.
To this day many Native Americans work on the construction of skyscrapers.... Its said/believed they are born with no fear of heights, something inherited (DNA) from their forefathers

No I dont have any superstitions, in fact I even put my new trainers on the kitchen table recently. My ex mother in law would tell me off for washing on new years day saying I would wash people away . So I washed on new years day deliberately and washed her out of my life!
