Boris Johnson's New Bridge ....

Why?

Is he wanting to be remembered for some feat of engineering like a long forgotten Pharaoh.

The cost is ridiculous ... and so is the notion that anyone would want a bridge from Scotland to Northern Ireland, especially when we continually hear the Scots want independence.

Then there's the matter of engineering technicalities ... the depth and an underwater ammunition dump.

Oh my ... I'd never heard of Beaufort Dyke before.

The money would be far better spent elsewhere, like the NHS, Policing, and the state of our roads for starters!

I would like to know why we don't have a bridge from the Isle of Wight to the mainland as a priority instead of this nonsense.
