HiChina is one the biggest polluters because of the size of it's population.
They are introducing draconian measures to combat this.
They are actually doing quite well.

Look at Indias past to present journey Swimmy. It's not me posting rubbish it's you. Recently, Denmark (and other countries) farmed out huge chunks of its manufacturing to India in order for these countries to claim being green and environmentally friendly. It resulted in more Co2 emissions in India because as a result they can afford air conditioning etc. They also manufacture more in their polluting factories due to the increase in production.
