Bathroom Friend. (Spider pic)

I have a friend in my bathroom, now I had one in exactly the same place before, a few weeks ago, it was there for some time, between the sink & the shower surround, that one went, so I cleared up the mess it had left on the floor thinking that was it. No idea if this is the same one though. What they find to eat there I have no idea.
They are actually quite fascinating creatures. They can tackle a House spider, no problem & eat other spiders too, for something so airy fairy a puff of wind would blow away, they are remarkable.

Harmless to us Cellar spider.

I haven't got any spiders living with me just now. I was wondering where they've all gone.

I've got a tiny one about 1/4" big, he's been living just above my kitchen roller blind all winter.
If he gets any bigger he'll have to go though.

My 9 year old grandaughter was bitten by a spider on her hand last week . Seems she ran after her ball into a bush , she didnt feel anything until a nasty blister/ burn mark started to look sore . I was surprised how its taken all week to heal .

Sounds like it could have been a False Widow spider. They do have a nasty bite.

It's funny but I don't remember those spindly guys when I was a kid, only in recent years have I seen them adorning my ceiling.

They used to prefer old houses/buildings, but I think they have adapted to newer houses too now. I used to work in an old farm house & the scullery was full of them, I was told to leave them be.
My Mother had one in her kitchen for years on & off, it was female & gave birth to lots of baby Cellar spiders, which were safely placed in other buildings.

Are they Cellar spiders, Mups & Besoeker?
