Hi

Exporting medicines either produced or in store here because other Countries are offering more money for them.

Re: Prescriptions

My husband and myself are in self isolation as I am high risk but the health surgery completely messed up my husband's prescription and after I phoned Boots to see if they had his prescription, they hadn't so that meant that he had to go down the surgery and get the receptionist to put it in. I wasn't happy about him going down there. Anyway three days after I phoned up Boots to see if they had it, they hadn't!!! so that meant my husband had to go down Boots to get it! I wasn't happy about that! At least he got them but were supposed to be in self isolation but the system lets you down as we didn't have anyone else to pick it up.

My husband said in Boots they were letting into the shop 5 customers at a time which thinking about it is quite a lot for the social distance rule. Then another woman barged into the shop and they told her to get out. I'm freaking out now that he wasn't at a safe distance waiting for the medication!!! It's just a useless situation!

Re: Prescriptions

My pharmacy, it's a local one, sorted mine out for me, got in touch with the surgery & got the prescription from them. They are super helpful in there.
Sorry you had so much trouble, Alicat.

Hello Alison I'm so sorry to hear you had such a problem with your husband's meds, especially when they should know how important they are for the older generation. I'm pleased he eventually received them ..... hopefully he will be safe.

Lovely to hear from you again Alison, best wishes to you both. x
