Alfriston Clergy house
This is the first property purchased by the National Trust
first photo messy with sign board outside and a bit dark
To me this looks better after a bit of editing

The second photo looks really good, realspeed. What a lovely building.

do you want to see inside? the main hall floor is made of milk and sand
my video link had to avoid other visitors during the shoot. Added music for atmosphere

back of premises. Could not get into garden as it was shut off due to being wet grass and muddy for better photos

I have never heard of a floor being made from milk and sand before - how unusual.
Thank you for the virtual tour - it is a lovely and very intriguing place. You might have shifted your under drawers off the mantle piece though!

Enjoyed the tour, thanks for that Realspeed. I love looking around old properties.
I was taken back in time when I saw the octagonal patchwork bedspread. Reminded me of one I did in the 70s.
